Intro Banter - This is the (mostly) unscripted intro to the show! We catch up, play games, talk about games that perhaps did not make the main show, and just gab, Welcome!
We need more like them - In this segment we list and identify the types of players that you want to have at the table: an encourager, a rules reader, a tension diffuser and more.
First Impressions – We talk about the first time with a title, from the acquisition to the first look, to the first play and deliver thoughts in writing and on the show.

Larry discusses - Edge of Darkness by AEG
Alex Discusses - Isle of Cats by City of Games
Not just Good, but SUPER Good - Top 3 lists themed by genre
This episode we look at our top three anticipated games as of Jan 2020!
Alex:
A War of Whispers by Starling Games
The Great Wall Board GAME by Awaken Realms
Larry:
One Deck Galaxy by Asmadi Games
Digimon Trading Card Game by Bandai (If you are looking for a game with a shared energy mechanic that is NOT a TCG, might I suggest Atlas games Dungeoneer Board game series, they are older, but it's a dungeon crawl that uses a version of this same Energy sharing mechanic to great effect, plus dungeon crawl, plus great artwork, plus small form factor, plus tons of content! BONUS!)
A deeper look - We pick a game (each) and do a deeper dive into the title. Not a review but speaking to the mechanics of it, NOTING any challenges in obtaining said title.

Also thanks to YouTuber WossyPlays for the first notification of this game to my attention, the video is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLIW5gczicU
He’s good, he covers TCG’s primarily (Think transformers, Keyforge & Final Fantasy, here), and has great access, he is insightful and entertaining, give him a try if you are ever on the youtubes, and want some tcg infused goodness!
Music: As always from the amazing community of gifted musicians, arrangers, and composers over at ocremix.org go visit and support them for the full project and so much more amazing music!
